With the I2C output card 8 digital loads can be switched. The output driver UDN2981 turns a positive voltage up to 30V.
The signal states are displayed on eight low-current LEDs.
The circuit uses negative logic because the I2C Port Expander module PCF8574 by switches on all outputs at voltage.
When controlling only the desired bit pattern must be inverted. Or subtracting from 255 the desired output value before it is transferred to the output card.
